The productsafetyletter.com search engine uses most of the standard search techniques. Here are the most common ones you may want to use:
Search for exact phrases using quotation marks (" ") Typing "apple" or "sun" will find items with those exact words in sequence.
Use the minus sign (-) to narrow your search
Entering network -phone, tells the search engine to include the word network but not phone. Don't forget - there's no space after the sign (e.g. -, -phone).
Use a wildcard (*) for multiple endings
By typing an * (asterisk symbol) at the end of a word, you can search for items with multiple endings. For example: Microsoft W* would return items such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works.
