CPSC WON’T IMPOSE UNIFORM TRACKING SYSTEM

There were an estimated 31,069 injuries associated with inflatable amusements from 2003 to 2007, according to data made available July 21 by CPSC.

CPSC POISON DATA SHOW 35 CHILD DEATHS IN 2006
There were 35 pediatric poisoning deaths in 2006, an 84% drop from CPSC’s earliest figure of 216 in 1972, according to data the agency made available July 22.
