LAST-MINUTE VOTES PRECEDE END OF CPSC QUORUM

Two House Science and Technology subcommittees January 28 sought explanation from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) about alleged improper influence over cancer studies of formaldehyde in emergency trailers.

VORNADO PAYS $500,000 TO SETTLE REPORTING CHARGE
CPSC January 31 said that Vornado Trust will pay a $500,000 civil penalty to settle Section 15 reporting allegations.
