CPSC AND CUSTOMS LAUNCH IMPORT PILOT PROGRAM
Following an approval process that CPSC Acting Chairman Nancy Nord October 29 said took roughly four months, JCPenny will be the first company to participate in a pilot expansion of Customs and Border Protection’s Importer Self-Assessment Program (ISA).

PAPER CERTIFICATES NOT NEEDED, BUT LINKS ARE
Although CPSC will allow certificates of compliance required under section 102 to be electronic, it will require some sort link to the electronic document (a World Wide Web url, for example) to physically accompany each shipment.
