CPSC Gives Overview of Non-Pool/Spa Child Submersions


There were 434 non-pool/spa drowning fatalities among children under age 5 from 2006 to 2010, according to data made available September 27 by CPSC. The report also showed 233 submersion injuries over the period as well as 17 incidents that did not result in injury or death.
