Haier Settles Reporting Allegations for $850,000


Haier America Trading will pay $850,000 to settle CPSC allegations of not fulfilling its Section 15 reporting obligations. The action involves blenders the company recalled in 2009 (PSL, 12/7/09, p. 1) due to a blade assembly nut that can dislodge.
