ASTM Panel Looks at Baby Sling Standard Scope and Warnings
Members of ASTM’s Sling Carrier Technical Task Force August 30 explored the scope of the F2907-12, Consumer Safety Specification for Sling Carriers. CPSC’s Hope Nesteruk, in the conference call, described the marketplace for infant carriers as one of innovation, with constantly changing and emerging products, making it hard to tell where some products fit for purposes of safety testing due to the existence of F2236.10, Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Soft Infant Carriers.
