Fire Injuries: CPSC August 27 released a 2009 contractor report that found an estimated 60,000 injuries annually from residential fires, including 3,000 deaths, mostly associated with burns and inhalation injuries. Read it at www.cpsc.gov/library/foia/foia09/os/fireinj2009.pdf.
