Council Provides Tenenbaum Advice on CHAP Activity
CPSC Chairman Inez Tenenbaum August 23 received suggestions on ways to proceed related to the Chronic Hazard Advisor Pane (CHAP) working on phthalates. Cal Dooley, president of the American Chemistry Council (ACC), explained that in his group’s opinion, it was critical that CPSC, and the phthalates CHAP in particular, utilize the peer review process for the sake of credibility, consistency and transparency.
