USFA Reviews Most-Recent Data on Clothes Dryer Fires


Fires associated with clothes dryers are linked annually to five deaths, 100 injuries and $35 million in property loss, according to August 7 data from the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA). Its report covered fires in residential buildings from 2008 to 2010.
