PROSAFE Find High Noncompliance in Tanning Beds

Up to 45% of tanning beds do not comply with labeling requirements regarding the risk of UV radiation according to the findings of an investigation carried out in 2010 and 2011 by market surveillance authorities from twelve European countries. The action looked at more than 1,798 tanning beds at more than 1,178 locations.
