ECHA Seeks Feedback on Panel’s Rejection of Phthalates Ban
The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) until September 3 will seek comments related to a recent opinion by its risk assessment committee (RAC) that a proposed phthalates ban is not justified. The new request for input involves a related decision by ECHA’s socioeconomic analysis committee (SEAC) not to write a supportive opinion on the ban because there was no demonstration of risk from combined exposure.
