Adler Calls for Action Plan for Seniors’ Safety
Commissioner Robert Adler, June 14 in Roll Call, urged increased attention to product safety risks and other injury issues for people age 65 or older. He noted that older people comprise 13% of the American population but suffer 60% of injuries. In describing an action plan, Adler wrote:
