CPSC Gives Input on Sling Carrier Labeling Standard
CPSC staff and ASTM June 21 discussed revisions to sling carrier labeling requirements as part of a review of F2907, Consumer Safety Specification for Sling Carriers. One of the primary revisions discussed was addition of a clear maximum and minimum weight restriction to the instructional labeling of the product. The new standard would require the manufacturer’s weight recommendations to be on all applicable warning labels.
